  1. Day 1 Delhi

    You'll be met by your English speaking driver at the exit of the arrivals hall and taken to your hotel. He'll get you settled in your room and agree on a meeting time for tomorrow's City Tour of Delhi. (Park View, Singh Continental, Sarthak Palace or similar, all in Karol Bagh)

  2. Day 2 Delhi

    Full day City Tour of Old/New Delhi. Make payment in full some time this day.

  3. Day 3 Delhi- Jhunjhunu

    Delhi to Jhunjhunu, district headquarters of the Shekhawati region. (about 5 hours) Khetri Mahal, Rani Sati Temple, other temples and havelis as time permits. (Jamuna Resort or Hotel Shiv Shekawati or similar)

  4. Day 4 Jhunjhunu - Bikaner

    Surface to Bikaner, founded 1488. (about 5 hours) (Hotel Sagar, Harasar Haveli or Padmini Niwas or similar)

  5. Day 5 Bikaner

    City Tour of Bikaner. Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace and Museum, Camel Research and Breeding Farm. Afternoon side trip for the adventurous to Mata Karni Devi Temple.

  6. Day 6 Bikaner – Jaisalmer

    Surface to the desert city of Jaisalmer. (about 6.5 hours) (Hotel Imperial, Hotel Sun Rise, Satkar or similar)

  7. Day 7 Jaisalmer

    City Tour of Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer Fort, Gadi Sagar lake, Patwon ki Haveli, Nathmal ki Haveli, other elaborate havelis as time permits. Side trip to Bada Bagh oasis, site of the royal cenotaphs. Late afternoon depart for Sam sand dunes. Two hour sunset camel ride. (Stay at Krishna Desert camp or similar this night.)

  8. Day 8 Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

    Drive to Jodhpur, founded 1459. (about 5 hours) Meherangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace and Museum, the extensive gardens of Mandore, Famous wooden handicraft market. (Ajit Mansion, Kuchaman Haveli, Devi Bhawan, or similar)

  9. Day 9 Jodhpur - Udaipur

    Visit Ranakpur and Kumbalgarh enroute to Udaipur. (at least 8 hours including your stops) (Pichola Haveli, Hill Lake, Govindam Rang Niwas standard room, or similar)

  10. Day 10 Udaipur

    City Tour of Udaipur (1568). City Palace and Museum, Jagdish temple, Folk Art Museum. Sunset side trip to Monsoon Palace (car toll and entrance fees included). Suggest also a boat ride on Lake Pichola this day (price not included).

  11. Day 11 Udaipur - Pushkar

    To Pushkar (about 4 hours). Rest and relaxation in the temples and on the ghats of the sacred lake. One of India's holiest cities, dedicated to Lord Brahma, creator of the earth. (Pushkar Heritage Resort, Hotel New Park, Pushkar Lake View, Green Park Resort or similar) Note: Fair supplement applies if you in Pushkar during the Camel Fair.

  12. Day 12 Pushkar - Jaipur

    To Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan (about 3 hours).(Aditya International, Jaipur Heritage, Rajputana Haveli or similar)

  13. Day 13 Jaipur

    City Tour of Jaipur. Elephant ride to Amber Palace IF an elephant is available. Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Albert Hall (central museum) optional evening Hindi film at Raj Mandir Cinema. (You can add Ranthambhore National Park to this itinerary if you have two extra days and nights.

  14. Day 14 Jaipur - Agra

    Visit the abandoned city of Fatephur Sikri enroute to Agra (5 hours if you drive direct). (Panna Paradise, Pushp Villa, Amar Yatri Niwas or similar)

  15. Day 15 Agra

    City Tour of Agra. Taj Mahal. Agra Fort. Itimad-ud-daulah tomb. Side trip to Akbar's Mausoleum at Sikandra.

  16. Day 15 Agra - Delhi

    Return to Delhi (about 4 hours). (Some travelers depart by train for Varanasi or Khajuraho from Agra instead of accompanying the driver back to Delhi.)
